This is your invitation to rise above the possible.Job posting end date: 06/04/2025We are seeking a Technical Service, Pumps to join our Pumps team.You will support and develop technical support for the Pumps business lines technologies portfolio and provide onsite and offsite technical support for Metso team and customers.You will collaborate with the other business teams to ensure exceptional customer experience.Reporting line: You will report to the Director, Pumps. This position will be based in Perth or Kalgoorlie, WA.What youll doCoordinate all activity involved with MA Pumps BL technologies portfolio technical support.Conduct customer visits to evaluate needs and communicate with Metso Sales & Services.Support commissioning, start-up, performance checks, trials, warranty inspections, parts supply, and training.Provide troubleshooting, process knowledge, and technical incident support through site visits.Participate in warranty claim or customer complaint processes.Assist with technical information, diagnostics, root cause analysis, and investigations for internal stakeholders and customers.Ensure collaboration with local and global sales & services teams.Develop service support and capabilities with local service teams.Evaluate new service sales opportunities and support business development.Support profitable growth and customer retention strategies.Assist in IB Validation activities, including inspection reports and recommendations.Provide expertise for problem management, technical sales support, training, R&D, and product development.Act as a trainer for internal/external technical trainings related to Pumps BL technologies.Improve Customer Satisfaction.Maintain knowledge of industry processes, competitors, and market influences.Who you areExperience with maintenance or rebuild/assembly of slurry pumps.Mechanical trade or Engineering Degree with at least 2 years experience.Ability to interpret safety rules, drawings, instructions, and manuals.Ability to perform or learn 3D scans and CAD modeling.Good report writing and communication skills.Current motor vehicle license and ability to travel on short notice.Willingness to work away from home for extended periods, including weekends.Desirable qualifications: Forklift Ticket, Rigging, and dogging qualifications.Hiring Manager: Anthony KleinHow to join- Working at Metso- About Metso- Diversity and Inclusion- Meet our peopleMetso promotes an inclusive, diverse workforce.
