This role involves creating and managing complex security rules, conducting thorough analysis and investigation of security incidents, and ensuring the security of our systems and data. You will also mentor junior team members and lead security initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Security Information and Event Management (SIEM):Develop, implement, and fine-tune advanced security rules in ELK SIEM.Lead the analysis and investigation of security incidents using SIEM tools.Provide actionable insights from SIEM data to improve security posture.Network Security:Manage and maintain firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to incidents.Design and implement network security architectures.Vulnerability Management:Conduct regular and comprehensive vulnerability scanning and assessments.Develop and execute advanced vulnerability management and remediation plans.Lead efforts to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.Cloud Security:Secure AWS environments through proper configuration, monitoring, and advanced security practices.Implement cloud security best practices and controls.Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulations.Risk Assessment:Perform detailed risk assessments, focusing on environmental factors and controls.Identify and mitigate security risks in line with organizational risk appetite.Develop and implement risk management strategies.Identity and Access Management (IAM):Manage and administer advanced Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies.Implement and oversee Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) using Active Directory (AD) and EntraID.Ensure robust IAM practices across the organization.Operating System Security:Ensure the security of Linux-based systems through advanced configuration and monitoring.Develop and implement security hardening procedures.Compliance and Controls:Implement and manage Continuous Data Protection (CDP) controls.Ensure compliance with Information Security Management (ISM) controls.Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.Mentorship and Leadership:Mentor and train junior security team members.Lead security projects and initiatives.Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2 to 4 years of experience in a security engineering role.Hands-on experience with ELK SIEM, including rule creation and incident investigation.Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network security practices.Proficiency in vulnerability scanning and management tools.Extensive experience with AWS security practices and tools.In-depth understanding of risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.Expertise in IAM and RBAC, particularly with AD and EntraID.Solid understanding of Linux security.Familiarity with CDP and ISM controls.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus.Skills and Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to security.Leadership and mentorship capabilities.Benefits of working at Accenture:18 weeks paid parental leaveLong & short-term career break opportunitiesStructured career development programLocal and international career opportunities.Certified as a Family Inclusive WorkplaceFlexible Work Arrangements - centered around Accentures Truly Human ethos and our commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of our people.We are proud to be in the top 3 of last years Diversity & Inclusion Index!We are a WORK180 Endorsed Employer, to see our benefits and policies click hereAll our consulting professionals receive comprehensive training covering business acumen, technical and professional skills development.
