Assistant Store Manager | Specialty Food RetailerGewrzhaus is a Melbourne-grown, family-owned retailer with a growing national network of stores and online sales. We mill and blend over 100 bespoke spice, salt, sugar, and tea blends for our self-scoop concept stores, supported by high-quality home and gift wares. We love to cook, we love to create, and we are fierce in our mission to nurture cooking at home.About the roleOur Assistant Store Managers support the Store Manager to deliver smooth day-to-day store operations and ensure our customers have an exceptional experience every time they shop with us.The Assistant Store Manager responsibilities include driving sales & KPIs, leading by example to provide amazing customer service, managing a team of casuals, store presentation & visual merchandising, administration, and inventory management.This is a part-time role, 25-30 hours per week, with a set weekly roster including Sunday and Monday.Who we are looking forWe seek applicants who are passionate about food and love retail!Customer service and interaction in a vibrant, busy retail environment is your ideal work setting.Hard work, being organized, and attention to detail are second nature.You have a positive, can-do attitude and are a natural problem solver.You love to cook and know your way around the kitchen.
