Job Description Perform cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas, and scullery.Maintain cleanliness of pantry, fridges, and freezers, including general pantry duties.Assist in food preparation as directed by the Executive Chef or supervisory team.Maintain cleanliness and proper rotation of stock in pantry, fridge, and freezers.Assist with receiving and storing stock.Ensure all kitchens are kept clean and tidy according to current health and hygiene regulations.Supply each outlet with sanitized, clean, and dry operational equipment.Count, sort, and prepare operating equipment as required.Store all equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware hygienically and safely.Handle chemicals and equipment correctly, following manufacturers instructions.Follow regular cleaning rosters and standard procedures for deep cleaning of floors, walls, coolers, ovens, and operating equipment.Contribute to cost control through energy conservation and careful use of water, cleaning materials, and appliances.Collect and dispose of garbage correctly from all kitchen areas each shift, using safe and hygienic methods for waste removal.Complete all duties and ensure a concise handover. Qualifications Experience in chemical handling and understanding of safe work practices preferred.Service-oriented with an eye for detail.Multicultural awareness and ability to work with diverse cultures.Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment.Self-motivated and energetic.Strong focus and passion for hotel operations.Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship, and networking skills.Time management skills with the ability to multitask.
