This includes administration, compliance, grant applications, and logistics to ensure unit operational readiness.The Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) plays a vital role in Victoria''s emergency response during events like floods, storms, earthquakes, tsunamis, and landslides. The agency also supports other departments and agencies as needed under section 6A of the VICSES Act. Employees may be directly employed or called upon to support emergency responses following appropriate training and assessment.Who We AreVICSES is a volunteer-based emergency service with highly trained volunteers responding to various emergencies. We aim to build resilient communities through education, preparedness, and response.
