Yurika is an Energy Queensland owned business delivering a portfolio of Solar, Wind and BESS projects. This role sits within the Energy Queensland Business Services Team, managing the Cost Control, Financial Reporting and Forecasting. Reporting into the Finance Manager - Yurika, this position will manage a team of 7 cost professionals responsible for accurate and timely reporting of project performance, who support Project Managers in the analysis of trends and highlighting risks.The role will involve extensive stakeholder engagement on both the EQL and Yurika side of the business. Gathering information and reports from Yurika Project Directors / Project Managers / Head of Project Management Office / etc. and working with the EQL commercial leadership team. Strong reporting will be key to success in this role, along with proven leadership experience.About you:In addition to your degree qualifications in Commerce or Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent relevant experience, you have a proven track record in leading cost control teams in dynamic and fast-paced business environments. You also have:You are an experienced manager, with prior line management experience of teams of 5+ staff. You are a good mentor and help grow members within your team.Solid understanding and experience of Engineering Projects based work. This role will be supporting concurrent, multimillion dollar EPC projects through the execution phases.You are comfortable working in a complex organisational structure with excellent stakeholder management.Demonstrated experience in delivering project improvements in safety, performance, quality, cost and time.Strong understanding of project / cost control and the ability to deliver appropriate and timely project reporting and critical information internally and to external customers.Significant experience in financial modelling.Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated skill in setting of project strategy, commercial modelling/forecasting, performance reporting, finance management and risk management.Excel / Power BI financial reporting skills are advantageous.What matters most to us is our values, Were Safe We Belong - We Grow - We Deliver.
