Reporting to theAccounting Manager, this new role is the perfect opportunity for a finance professional to take ownership of core accounting processes while partnering closely with shared services, internal teams, and global stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignmentWhy Join Us?Heres a glimpse into the benefits and culture at Amer Sports ANZ:Competitive salary + bonus + superWere a certified Great Place to WorkFree products and generous allowances to fuel your adventuresFlexible hybrid working (incl. added school holiday flexibility)6-Star Green Star rated HQ with a strong focus on sustainabilityOngoing career development and personal growth supportRegular staff days from snow trips to fun runsPaid volunteering days give back while on the clockBe part of a global powerhouse of brands with room to growKey Responsibilities:D2C Business SupportManage financial operations across the D2C channel, including store setup and maintenance, capex tracking, revenue recognition, inventory controls, and stocktakes.Financial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare financial and management reports to support decision-making.Collaborate with teams such as FP&A, Sales, Retail, Marketing, and Warehouse to provide accurate financial insights and support.Shared Services CollaborationAct as the key liaison with Europe-based Shared Services to ensure smooth coordination of financial processes and accounting tasks.Month-End & Year-End CloseLead the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed asset reviews, tax compliance, and intercompany transactions.Accounts Payable & Receivable OversightSupervise AP and AR functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.Audit & ComplianceManage external and internal audit processes.Support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls to ensure SOX compliance.Strategic & Project SupportPartner with senior leadership to provide financial insight on key business initiatives.Contribute to global, regional, and local financial projects and process improvements.Ad Hoc SupportProvide financial support on an ad hoc basis as required across the business.Skills & Experience Required:CA or CPA qualifiedMinimum 5 years in a senior accounting role, ideally within D2C, retail, or the sporting goods industryExperience in a multi-channel environment (Retail, B2B, E-commerce) preferredStrong understanding of Australian financial regulations, GAAP/IFRSHands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skillsFamiliarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworksAnalytical thinking and attention to detailStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlinesDemonstrated leadership and mentoring abilitiesReady to Apply?Submit your CV and cover letter today and tell us why you''re the perfect fit!At Amer Sports, we value diversity of experience.
