Ready to bring your best?How you will make a contribution:The Procurement Manager at Saputo Dairy Australia (SDA) is a key leadership role responsible for developing, driving, and executing procurement strategies. This role requires leadership within the Procurement team and across the organization. The successful candidate will act with integrity, professionalism, and commitment, managing cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals. Drive initiatives to improve procurement processes and outcomes.Stakeholder Management: Provide commercial advice and counsel to stakeholders to enable informed decisions.Market Insights: Understand market dynamics and identify drivers to mitigate inflationary pressures, supporting financial targets.Sustainability and Risk Management: Ensure procurement practices meet operational, commercial, and sustainability objectives while managing risks.Category Management:Develop and execute category plans for Utilities, Corporate Services, and Marketing spend categories. Responsibilities include:Conduct spend analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities.Assess and mitigate business risks.Lead supplier selection, RFPs, and negotiations.Manage supplier relationships and contract compliance.Monitor and report on category and supplier performance.Develop budget guidance supporting the Business Plan.A key aspect is to support renewable and non-renewable procurement strategies aligned with Australian regulations and Saputo''s sustainability goals outlined in the Saputo Promise Report.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor''s degreeExperience:At least 5 years in procurement, including 3+ years in large, complex organizations.Experience developing procurement strategies across diverse categories.Experience implementing procurement systems and sourcing tools.This role offers opportunities to expand procurement skills and engage with senior stakeholders.Saputo is a leading dairy processor with well-loved brands such as Devondale, Liddells, CHEER, Mersey Valley, and Tasmanian Heritage.
