Ensuring effective implementation of reforms that improve outcomes for families and victim survivors. This role combines the functions of the Alliance Coordinator and the Family Violence Principal Strategic Advisor.Key Responsibilities include:Facilitate and drive the strategic direction of the Alliance and FVRIC within local and statewide contextsProvide informed, evidence-based advice to governance bodies, Family Services Victoria (FSV) and stakeholdersMaintain an overview of key policy and program developments, identifying implications for system improvementsDevelop and implement capacity building initiatives to enhance family violence and child wellbeing reform knowledge and service responsesFoster cross-sector relationships and initiate partnership projects to strengthen local service system connectionsRepresent the Alliance and FVRIC in regional and statewide forums and advocate for local issuesFor a more detailed understanding of the key responsibility areas,click here to view the Position Description.For any queries, please contact Ange Armstrong, Director of Service Development,on 0418 149 811.Role RequirementsTertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Development or relevant discipline, with a minimum of five years relevant post qualification experienceProject ManagementWillingness to obtain a valid Working with Children Check and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencing employment with us.
