Paralympics Australia (PA) is looking for a General Manager - Performance Strategy & System Partnerships to join our dynamic team in a parental leave capacity. This role is pivotal in driving partnerships and increasing capabilities within PA and between our High-Performance Sport System partners with a focus on delivery of the Para System Uplift.About the RoleUnder the direction of the Head of Performance Strategy, the GM Performance Strategy and System Partnerships will lead the team responsible for delivering the strategic priorities including partnerships critical to the Para System Uplift.The role provides day to day operational leadership across teams supporting System Partnerships, System Capability, Advisory, and Data Analytics & Insights functions within the Performance Strategy team.Provide strategic advice on High-Performance System (HPSS) partnerships to enable the successful delivery and implementation of the Para System UpliftEnsure Paralympics Australia maintains coordinated and consistent engagement with all HPSS partners and stakeholders in line with broader organisational objectives and stakeholder engagement planEnsure sector partnerships are delivered in alignment PA''s strategic objectivesLead and manage the System Capability & Partnerships and Data Analytics & Insights teamsEstablish, nurture, and strengthen partnerships with the AIS, NSOs, SISSAS, and other relevant HPSS organisationsCollaborate with the Head of Performance Strategy and GM Pathways & Classification to ensure integrated, effective partner engagement for the successful delivery of Para System Uplift initiativesContribute to the development, monitoring, and reporting of key performance indicatorsAbout YouWe''re seeking someone with:Demonstrated success managing multiple stakeholder relationships, including at executive levelDemonstrated success leading projects and project teamsExcellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills and attributes.Experience supporting individuals to thriveAbility to take initiative, work collaboratively within a team but also work effectively independentlyAbility to operate with sensitive and confidential informationQualificationsTertiary qualifications in sport science, sport coaching, and/or sport management or an aligned discipline is preferable although not essential depending upon experienceWorking with Children''s CheckWhy Join Us?At Paralympics Australia, we foster a culture that values family, innovation, honesty, and continual improvement.
