During your journey with us, you can continue to explore Accors limitless possibilities.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Head Chef to build and lead an inspired team of hospitality professionals. This role reports to the General Manager and works closely with our Portfolio Director of Food and Beverage. Responsibilities include leading the smooth day-to-day operation within the Kitchen Team, maintaining Hop & Huddle standards, and ongoing development.What will you be doing?Leading, inspiring, and developing team members through guidance and a hands-on approach;Training all kitchen staff on menu execution, techniques, and HACCP standards;Contributing to menu planning and execution;Controlling food and wage costs to stay within budget;Assisting in event planning and execution;Ensuring high-quality products through menu knowledge, portion control, and preparation techniques;Implementing hotel and department regulations, policies, and procedures;Providing menu information to the events team and floor staff to confidently advise guests;Staying informed on industry trends and dietary developments;Training staff on food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance standards.QualificationsGuest-focused attitude with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment;Ability to manage change and provide quick solutions;Leadership qualities with a collaborative spirit and strong communication skills;Passion for Food & Beverage and awareness of current trends;Minimum of 5 years of cookery experience;Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, and weekends;Food Safety Supervisor certification or willingness to obtain it.Additional InformationAn opportunity to Work Your Way, Learn Your Way, and Experience Benefits Your Way at Accor;Contribute meaningfully and take pride in making a difference in the hotel operation;Work alongside passionate industry professionals;Be mentored by experienced Accor hospitality professionals committed to your success. #J-18808-Ljbffr
