Job Description Ventia is seeking a standout HVAC / Electrical Technician to join their dynamic Telecommunications Team in Launceston areas. As a crucial member of the Telecommunications team, you''ll be at the forefront of maintaining, repairing, and optimising facilities and advanced HVAC systems. This isn''t your typical 9-to-5 jobit''s a full-time, permanent role with ample opportunities for overtime. Imagine cruising to work in your own company-provided Tool of Trade vehicle, ensuring you arrive ready to tackle any challenge the day presents. The pay rate for this position is at industry rates based on skills and experience. To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check. Benefits Company car provided for work-related travel requirements Ventia offers you a flexible, supportive, and inclusive work environment where you matter This role comes with the added security of being offered as a permanent position Key Duties, But Not Limited To Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems Contribute to overall site maintenance Perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance and testing as required via Mobility (iPad) Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services promptly and efficiently Ensure inspection results are recorded online with objective quality evidence standards Provide flexibility to meet the demands of out-of-hours and call-out work as required Skills & Experience A strong focus and commitment towards OH&S in the workplace Excellent customer service and time management skills Great communication skills A positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to develop skills A current and valid Australian Drivers Licence, Australian Refrigeration Trade qualification, and applicable licenses A current and valid Arctick Refrigerant Handling Licence, Restricted Electrical Licence or Dual Trade qualifications Ability to work independently and in a team Willingness to travel occasionally to different metro & remote sites as required Ability to pass a national police check, a Working with Children Check, and complete a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening The Company Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
