Job Title: Operations SupervisorAmazon Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the Operations Shift Manager in driving innovation and execution within transportation networks. The ideal candidate should be motivated to lead a team towards meeting targets and productivity goals aligned with company objectives. Responsibilities include tracking team attendance and workflow, and collaborating with the Shift Manager to address issues proactively.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of a culture focused on health and safety, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies.Assist in daily department management duties.Serve as a deputy for the Operations Shift Manager when required.Conduct staff debriefs and ensure accurate completion of all paperwork.Perform duties according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Assign work to staff to support workflow and meet daily metrics.Ensure adequate resourcing, including managing call outs for training, absences, and performance issues, along with coaching and monitoring productivity.Support training of new associates to ensure proper knowledge transfer.Help track, analyze, and report departmental metrics.Assist in understanding factors influencing departmental success or failure.Manage tracking and reporting of hours and schedules for associates.Address process-related issues as they arise.Ensure high standards in equipment defect reporting.Position DetailsThis is a full-time position.
