About This Role Our Campbelltown PET-Nuclear Medicine Department clinic in Park Central, Campbelltown Private Hospital, is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team. We are flexible with the start date to accommodate the successful candidate. The role is a full-time position working eight-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, between 8am - 5pm. Our PET/NM Department at Campbelltown Private Hospital features state-of-the-art facilities, including a newly opened PET/CT service in November 2023. Working across both Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT departments, you will need excellent time management, attention to detail, and compassion for patients with vulnerable health conditions. Role Overview: As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures. Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally. Advising patients of preparation steps prior to relevant scans. Managing billing procedures private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA. Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers. What we''re looking for: Clear verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow. Confidence working across multiple screens and systems. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, ideally in a healthcare or reception environment.
