Were seeking a Systems Accountant (Business Analyst) to play a key role in enhancing our financial systems and processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, working across finance and IT to drive innovation, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making.ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and optimise business processes to improve financial operations and reporting.Lead system integration efforts across platforms such as IFS and CHRIS21.Deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.Ensure systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with financial governance standards.Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues efficiently.Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline accounting workflows.Manage the finance IFS remediation plan and support internal audit activities.About YouTertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, Business, or a related field.Proven experience in governance, internal controls, or audit-related roles.Familiarity with IFS or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.Strong background in designing and implementing best practice policies and procedures.Collaborative mindset with experience working across finance, HR, IT, and operations.Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and documentation.High level of discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive data and complex issues.EligibilityThis role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level.
