Rheinmetall Defence Australia Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking aTeam Lead Final Test Acceptanceto oversee commissioning and final acceptance activities, ensuring all production schedules are met and quality standards maintained.The key responsibilities include:Leading and managing the commissioning team with a focus on continuous improvement;Initiating and following up on Q-Notes to ensure smooth project progression;Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for system assembly;Coaching team members on technical mastery and reporting, and participating in material review boards;Managing daily start-up processes and visual management tools like ANDON boards;Ensuring correct tooling and consumables are available;Maintaining up-to-date risk assessments;Conducting safety and process checks such as Take Fives;Promoting safety, quality, and productivity through personal example and team motivation;Supervising and training production team members to ensure compliance with procedures and deadlines;Developing problem-solving skills within the team to enhance morale and productivity;Prioritizing work orders and managing employee-related issues such as timesheets and leave.Qualifications and Experience:Experience in manufacturing industries, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or foreman role;Understanding of composite processing technologies and equipment;Willingness to learn new processes and machinery;Ability to travel interstate and internationally for supplier visits and training;Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).What We Offer:Uniforms, tools, and training;Long weekends every second week (9-day fortnight);Attractive salary packages with options for salary sacrificing and novated leases;Employee discounts with over 500 retailers;Generous parental and loyalty leave entitlements;On-site subsidized caf;Employee Assistance Program for health and wellbeing;Career development opportunities;Incentive and referral programs;Purposeful team work;Endorsed Employer for All Women with WORK180.This role requires a Defence security clearance; applicants must be Australian citizens.
