Youll lead a passionate, tight-knit team of second-line risk professionals across operational risk, credit risk, and assurance. These are people who care deeply about doing the right thing and supporting the business to grow safely. Youll also work hand-in-hand with our Line 1 Controls & Monitoring teams, Compliance, Financial Crime, and Assurance Centres of Excellenceso youre never flying solo.Youll be part of something bigger, helping shape the future of banking in the Pacific with a voice thats heard and respected. If youre someone who thrives on responsibility, loves a challenge, and wants to make a real impactthis is your moment.What do I need?A sharp eye for risk and a curious mind. Youre someone who doesnt just spot risksyou understand them, question them, and know how to guide others through them. You see patterns others miss and bring clarity to complexity.Provide independent advice and challenge to the Fiji Leadership Teams regarding their management of risks across all risk classes arising from both operational and change initiatives within their areas of responsibility.Maintain Credit Portfolio Quality. The courage to challenge and the wisdom to influence. Youll be advising senior leaders and shaping big decisions. That means being confident enough to speak up, and skilled enough to bring people with youeven when the message is tough.Leadership that lifts others. Youll be leading a talented team across operational risk, credit risk, and assurance. Your job is to inspire, support, and grow themcreating a culture where risk is respected, voices are heard, and people thrive.A translator of risk-speak. You can take technical risk concepts and turn them into plain, powerful language that makes sense to everyonefrom frontline teams to the boardroom.
