Responsibilities include ensuring colleague and guest satisfaction, financial success, health and safety, and environmental stewardship. The Spa Director leads daily operations, manages productivity and expenses, and maximizes revenue aligned with Raffles Spas'' positioning.Set within a serene 3,000 sqm wellbeing sanctuary, the Spa at Raffles The Palm Dubai offers complete rejuvenation of mind and body. Features include one of the largest indoor pools on the Palm, a luxurious hammam, and a unique ozone-controlled air environment, providing an exceptional retreat dedicated to luxury, healing, and holistic care.Job ResponsibilitiesOversee facility operations, including strategic planning to ensure cost-effective and efficient spa management.Establish and implement departmental goals.Manage, train, and motivate all spa colleagues.Act as a liaison between the hotel and the spa industry.Meet with group meeting planners to showcase spa facilities and programs.Promote and sell customized spa programs to conference groups.Tour prospective spa guests and provide professional information both in person and via phone.Promote hotel and spa packages and marketing initiatives.Lead the implementation of a 12-month marketing plan and identify new business opportunities.Coordinate public relations activities, including events and media relations.Collaborate with hotel PR, sales, and marketing teams.Maintain knowledge of competitors'' offerings, pricing, and sales techniques.Administer staff training in all aspects of spa operations, including guest relations and retail sales.Supervise all spa departments: Salon, Front Desk, Boutique, ensuring effective communication and operations.Administrative DutiesBuild relationships with vendors and manage product inventories.Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.Submit monthly reports to senior management, including business and treatment audits.Recruit, develop, and train department staff.Conduct effective departmental meetings and maintain open communication.Health and SafetyEnforce safety procedures and lead by example.Develop and adhere to emergency procedures.Ensure staff understand and follow safety policies.Financial ResponsibilitiesManage budgets, analyze financial performance, and prepare financial reports.Review and approve payroll, invoices, and expenditures.Monitor service scheduling, productivity, and profitability.Colleague RelationsMaintain positive internal relationships and perform performance management.Conduct staff reviews and develop staffing plans.Set and review short- and long-term goals for staff.Guest ServiceMaintain the spa in peak condition and ensure guest satisfaction is a priority.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Business Administration is a plus.At least 5 years of management experience in a spa or related field.Experience in hospitality is preferred.Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.#J-18808-Ljbffr
