Located in Sydney working with Defence Industry organisation - Maritime Maintenance EnvironmentYour new companyOur client is a global competitor within the Defence Industry and they are currently seeking a Project Scheduler to join their team on a permanent basis. Located in Sydney CBD they support naval platforms within Defence and their maintenance services.Your new roleAs Scheduler you will be joining their working as part of the ship repair, maintenance and asset management area of the business.Defence Industry - MaritimeMaintenance EnvironmentMust be eligible for Defence ClearancesDevelop and maintain Earned Value Management data for project schedules.Ensure accurate representation of work progress and control for deviations.Maintain project management artifacts (e.g., WBS, OBS, RAM).Implement and maintain the EVM system and analyze variances.Plan and schedule work using tools like Primavera.Prepare inputs for monthly PMO reporting and customer deliverables.Drive the development and maintenance of the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).Support Risk & Opportunities assessments.Foster a cooperative working relationship within the team.Assist with financial data analysis and support junior team members.What you''ll need to succeedAustralian Citizen eligible for Defence clearances.Qualification in Business or Engineering, or equivalent.Knowledge of the project management lifecycle.Proficiency in EVM system tools (e.g., Cobra).Experience with Primavera and scheduling tools.Basic knowledge of schedule health checks.Scheduling expertise in PERT and CPM analysis.Financial and budgetary control experience.Technical understanding of the project domain (desirable).Experience in the development project engineering lifecycle (desirable).What you''ll get in returnThis role offers the opportunity to work for an exciting and niche industry with a Defence leader.What you need to do nowIf you''re interested in this role, click ''apply now'' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
