We are hiring a General Manager to lead on the day-to-day operations of our purpose-built building, ensuring it is maintained to the highest standard and operates efficiently and safely.Contract type: PermanentHours: 35 hours per week (inclusive of lunch. Some evening/weekend work required)Salary: 38,500 (dependent on experience)The General Manager is a key member of Dance Bases Senior Leadership Team, leading on the day-to-day operations of our purpose-built building. Working closely with the CEO, you will ensure the smooth and productive running of Dance Base.The General Manager plays a crucial role in the overall success and sustainability of Dance Base, contributing to its commitment to inclusivity and environmental best practice at every level in line with the organisations business aims to: Plan for Dance Bases long-term resilience and sustainability. Create a healthy and safe environment for dance artists and members of the public. Grow and increase access to dance in Edinburgh and the Lothians.The role will be instrumental in supporting the CEO in maintaining positive and effective relationships with our stakeholders (including with funders, contractors, suppliers as well as our artists and teachers) and in preparing capital development plans.Specifically, you will be responsible for: Facilities and building management Procurement and supplier relationship management Contributing to strategic development and reporting Financial management and reporting Line management of the Facilities and the Booking & Front of House teams Oversight of organisational compliance, policies and HR IT and organisational administrationThe deadline is Wednesday 25 June 2025 at 12:00. #J-18808-Ljbffr
