As a 9News Producer, you''ll be at the sharp end, crafting top-tier content that grabs our audience and keeps them informed. Own the Broadcast, from shaping content to mastering the lineupyou''re the key to a flawless show.Ready to make Perth''s news shine?Day to day you will:Fuel audience engagement and support the creation of compelling, viewer-focused content.Develop, research, script, and edit impactful stories.Spot the buzz, identify resonant stories and angles that grab viewers.Guarantee content is factually correct and adheres to legal requirements.Problem-solve on-air issues and manage bulletin lineup (Mosart/ENPS).QualificationsWhat youll bring:Relevant degree in journalism or hands-on control room experience.Strong understanding of news and current affairs.Experience in TV, radio, or other news media environments.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Solid grasp of media law and familiarity with broadcast systems like ENPS.Additional InformationHow we workAt Nine, our flexible work options vary by role and team.
