Based in Katherine, NT, this role offers a rare opportunity to make a lasting impact on remote Aboriginal communities through strategic, on-the-ground infrastructure work.Youll lead critical roadworks and capital projects across diverse and remote locations, supporting disaster recovery, sustainability initiatives, housing, and regional access. You''ll work with contractors, internal teams, and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes across a broad regional footprint.What we offer:$84,656.65 base salary + super + $1,206.60 remote area allowanceUp to $5,000 relocation support6 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading + 10 personal leave daysSalary sacrifice options, travel allowances, flexible work, and ongoing professional developmentKey responsibilities:Oversee the delivery of road construction and infrastructure upgradesManage tenders, work schedules, contractor performance, and WHSDevelop and implement asset management plans and reporting frameworksConduct site inspections across remote communities in the regionSupport infrastructure-related grants, planning, and compliance activitiesAbout you:Youre experienced in civil construction or infrastructure delivery, confident managing contractors and capital works, and passionate about contributing to community outcomes. Youre comfortable working in remote environments and bring cultural awareness and adaptability to the role.Qualifications in Civil, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering (Cert IV or higher) are desirable, along with a Driver Licence, WWC Card, and Criminal History Check.Why join us?This is more than a job.
