Our commitment is to ensure all Western Australians have access to secure, reliable, and sustainable energy.We believe that the benefits of renewable energy arent just for some, they''re for everyone.This is where you come in.Role DescriptionThe Contract & Technical Coordinator is a newly created opportunity in our Asset Management and Operations team based at our Collie Power Station.The purpose of the role is to ensure the effective operations and optimisation of the Collie Battery Energy Storage Systems (CBESS) to safely achieve the agreed production, capacity, reliability, and efficiency objectives.The Contract & Technical Coordinator will ensure the effective execution of contracted Operation and Maintenance requirements, leading the coordination of contract activities and providing specialist technical advice to safely achieve the agreed objectives.The role will lead, foster, and implement continuous improvement of practices and processes at CBESS to achieve operational targets.Job ResponsibilitiesSupporting key operations of CBESS to achieve the agreed production, cost, and performance targets in line with contractual and technical KPIs.Coordination between the onsite operational & asset stakeholders and internal/ external teams to ensure that all plant is operated and dispatched to plan.Achieve targets as established with the FE Leadership as part of the annual performance planning process and as per the contracts for service providers.Provide input and feedback on updates required in asset management plans for the CBESS asset aligned to the portfolio asset mission statement.Take responsibility for the safety of all FE employees and contractors on site in support of the Synergy HSE team, relevant legislation, and Synergys and/or contractors OSH policies and procedures.What You Will BringPrevious experience in contract and/or project coordination and management, along with relevant practical expertise.Technical knowledge and skills to manage plant operations, with an advantage for those with electrical or technical trade backgrounds.High-level project management skills, strong analytical and coordination abilities, and the tenacity to see ideas through from conception to implementation.Experience within an energy-related sector (e.g. electricity, oil & gas) or industrial/mining organisation.Proven experience in managing and coordinating work and associated data records.So, what''s it like working for Synergy?As one of Australia''s most trusted utility brands, we value our customers, the community we operate in, and our people.
