This program aims to deliver reliable, secure, trusted, and efficient registry services to support the economy for the benefit of all Australians.Sydney or Melbourne location24 Month Fixed Term RoleSalary starting from $165,011 to $195,951 (depending on experience) + 15.4 % superannuationApplications close at 11:59pm Thursday, 5 June 2025The teamThe Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) Portfolio Office delivers a broad suite of services in portfolio management, project delivery, business planning, and governance to support ASIC''s strategic priorities. We work in close partnership with ASIC IT and the newly established RegistryConnect (RC) program to ensure projects are aligned with both strategic direction and operational needs.The roleThe Senior Project Manager will lead multiple strategic projects within the RegistryConnect (RC) program, applying project management and technical expertise across Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery. The role focuses on managing schedules, risks, dependencies, budgets, and benefits, while ensuring alignment with ASIC frameworks and driving strong stakeholder engagement and change management.More Specifically, You WillLead strategic project initiatives within the RegistryConnect program, applying both project management and technical expertise.Build and maintain effective relationships with internal IT, ASIC stakeholders, and external partners.Ensure compliance with ASIC''s PRINCE2-based Project Management Methodology and System Development Methodology (Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall).Drive workstream delivery against KPIs including time, budget, scope, quality, risk, and benefits.Provide clear and timely reporting to program boards, sponsors, and stakeholders.Accurately forecast and track project expenditure.Manage workstreams using appropriate tools and escalate risks proactively.Contribute to program-wide risk, scheduling, and dependency management.Adhere to Commonwealth procurement rules and processes.About YouThe ideal candidate for this role will be a dynamic and highly experienced project leader with a strong blend of strategic delivery and technical expertise. They will have a proven track record managing complex, multi-stream projects across Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies, with a deep understanding of project governance, risk, scheduling, and financial management.In Addition, You Will HaveExtensive demonstrated project management experience, with over 7 years delivering large-scale, business-critical systems in complex commercial or Australian Government environments.At least 3 years of Agile delivery experience.Formal project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK).Proven experience delivering business projects or contributing within a program environment.Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent experience.Demonstrated ability to work independently and take accountability for outcomes.Extensive stakeholder engagement, management and communication skillsCurrent Australian Government security clearance highly regarded.Click apply'' to start your application.
