SESLHD is committed to enabling our community to be healthy and well, and to providing the best possible compassionate care when people need it.To be a Section Manager overseeing at least two imaging units within a given modality speciality area such as US, CT or MRI. To be responsible for the orientation and training of medical radiation scientists, technical assistant staff, students and other health professionals to the clinical speciality. To co-ordinate workflow to ensure maximum throughput and utilisation within a given work area. To be responsible for the maintaining and ongoing development of imaging protocols relevant to the modality area. To ensure strong and effective communication between staff, patients and referrers to ensure a smooth and efficient service occurs. Extensive clinical experience or post graduate qualification allied to an area of expertise or specialisation e.g. CT, US, Angiography, MRI.Holder of NSW EPA Radiation Licence and registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
