Creative. Commercial. Consistent.About The Opportunity:The team is growing. Fast. And until now, estimating has been a team sport. Its worked, but theyve outgrown it.Youll be the first dedicated Estimator to join the team. Someone to grab the estimating reins, build the systems, setup the workflows and stop the guesswork.If youve ever said, There has to be a better way to do this, this is your blank canvas.As the Estimator, youll be building the process. Setting up the tools and templates and workflows for pricing projects from scratch.Costing the builds. Labour, materials, overheads. You know the drill.Youll also work very closely with sales and production teams. You wont live in isolation. Youll get that collaboration and call upon everyone when needed.Youll find yourself reviewing quotes from suppliers and subs. Youre someone who doesnt just accept the first price either.Benchmarking everything is critical. All your costs, assumptions, wins and mistakes. And thats where you come in.About You:Youre an experienced Estimator. Youve probably been in construction, fit-out or manufacturing. At least 3 years of it. Your knowledge of procurement and contract pricing models like fixed, cost-plus and scheduling of rates is vital.You get how builds come together and where costs hide. If youve had a hand in modular or container projects before, even better.Youre a self-starter and motivated. Not afraid to speak up. Youre the person who wants to build better estimating tools.Bonus points if youve worked on modular container builds before.
