Job Summary To manage the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of all application systems to enable the use of appropriate platform technology, as an integral and reliable component of business processes within the country. Drive convergence of technologies, ensure delivery of technology projects related to applications, and liaise and negotiate with internal customers and technology vendors. Job Description Accountability: Time split: 40% End User and ATM Support Install, upgrade, configure, and troubleshoot desktop operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Office and other banking applications. Install, upgrade, configure, back up, and troubleshoot servers, including application servers, file and print servers, Teller, and others. Maintain desktop resources like phones, printers, scanners, Card and PIN systems. Monitor resource utilization and performance, and take preventive or corrective actions. Ensure all PCs are protected with up-to-date antivirus definitions and patches. Monitor incidents and trends, and recommend improvements. Ensure ATM operation effectiveness and high availability. Adhere to change management procedures for live systems. Provide support for hardware, software, and ATMs, including resolving complex issues. Implement information security guidelines. Support UAT and OAT activities, and assist in project stages. Support business requirements translation into IT applications. Manage migration activities and supervise hardware maintenance. Ensure proper testing of changes before deployment. Provide technical support and diagnostic analysis. Accountability: Test Management, Time split: 20% Review releases, assign testing tasks, and compile deliverables. Conduct various testing procedures, including user acceptance and post-release testing. Review supporting documentation and compile test results. Review release test outcomes. Accountability: Risk Management, Time split: 20% Build relationships with IT Risk and Governance teams. Contribute to improving the risk profile through governance, controls, and compliance. Accountability: People Management, Time split: 20% Drive own performance development and training. Identify training needs and complete necessary training and accreditation.
