With a focus on excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainability, you will be pivotal in stakeholder engagement and management for Austal and customers.Whats InvolvedAs Support Services Manager, youll lead the planning and delivery of key services across:Maintenance, engineering, logistics, warehousing, planning, scheduling, and operationsSubcontractor and supplier managementAustralian Industry Capability (AIC) and regional development initiativesTechnical data and Defence-supplied equipment (GFE, GFM, GFS, GFD)Uniformed personnel managementMaintenance Management System and regulatory complianceService delivery reporting, administration, and coordinationYou''ll also oversee the management and development and upkeep of essential plans and documentation, potentially including:Annual Regional WorklistsMaintenance and Supply Chain PlansSupplies Acceptance and Deviation documentation Technical Data Schedule and ListSurvey & Quote, Efficiency Reports, and Maintenance Service RequestsYoull needDemonstrated leadership in delivering support services within a complex stakeholder environmentExperience managing support services within an Australian Defence contextStrong initiative and self-motivationSharp attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skillsProven ability to build, lead and support high-performing teamsDeep knowledge of engineering, maintenance, and supply support systemsUnderstanding of Defence Engineering statutory compliance requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh-level analytical, reporting and presentation capabilitiesStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilitiesCapable of working independently with sound organisational and time management skillsEffective planning, delegation, and team motivation skillsA commitment to lead by example in safety, quality, and ethical standardsWhy AustalCompetitive compensation and benefits package.Professional development and training opportunities.A supportive and dynamic work environment.Opportunities for career advancement within our growing organisation.Our global team is guided by a universal set of values that describe the focus of our efforts.
