Established, multi-state presence, market leading Tier 2 ContractorExtensive project pipeline in Defence, Industrial & Commercial sectorsDelivering Defence project $50m to $100m new build and some refurbExcellent career progression and culture, running whole site reporting to Senior PMGreat opportunity to join a Tier 2 contractor with excellent presence in the defence, industrial and commercial sectors with a strong reputation for delivering quality projects.A market leading Tier 2 contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing business.The role is a Site Manager running a team of supervisors on a $50m-$100m new build building project with some refurb work associated with it as well. Candidates need to have experience successfully delivering projects of this magnitude from inception to completion. Projects they work on are generally Industrial, Defence or Commercial in nature.Due to the defence nature of the projects, candidates must be an Australian Citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Conduct onsite HSE and quality inductions with all onsite staff / subcontractorsComplete daily site diary entriesReview and manage key project issuesLiaise with statutory bodies ensuring all relevant notifications are madeEnsure site compound and amenities are established and maintainedOrganise all site inspections with clients, authorities and consultantsAssist Senior Project Manager with preparing scopes of workUnderstand head and subcontractor contracts, especially in relation to timeframesProduce and manage defect lists for subcontractors prior to finishing worksQualifications and Requirements:Trade or building related QualificationMinimum 5 to 10yrs years experience in site supervision of construction projects including planning, programming and management of onsite staff / subcontractorsConstruction Safety Induction (White) cardSenior First Aid CertificateDesirable Certificate IV in Occupational Health & SafetySound knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards relating to building sitesProven ability to lead and motivate subcontractorsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and understand construction drawings and specificationsProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelAustralian CitizenshipThis is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click Apply to submit your resume or contact Jacob Montague-Day on jacob.montague-day@amida-recruit.com.au or 0406 849 202 or Sam Barnes on sam.barnes@amida-recruit.com.au or 0429 306 688 for further information. #J-18808-Ljbffr
