Job Description

Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training, and business opportunities. Clough currently has an opportunity for an additional Coating QC Inspector to join our team on site. In this role, you will ensure that coatings applied to equipment or structures meet quality standards and prevent issues like corrosion or degradation. Who you are Courageous, motivated, curious, passionate, and creativethese words describe you. Your focus will include: Inspecting coating applications to ensure adherence to specifications. Checking surface preparation before coating begins. Monitoring atmospheric conditions prior to painting operations. Conducting film thickness checks (wet and dry). Performing adhesion and penetration testing to verify coating integrity. Documenting inspection results and reporting non-conformances. Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and industry regulations. Providing technical advice on coating selections and applications. What you will bring to the team: Previous experience in a similar role in mining, construction, or oil & gas industries. Certifications such as NACE Level 2, B GAS, or FROSIO accreditation are a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently.
