Seeking Mechanical Designers to join our Perth-based team The roles are offered on a 3-month or 6-month maximum term contract with the potential to extend. Reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, you will be involved with a diverse range of projects from concept studies, detailed design, procurement, construction, to commissioning within the mining and minerals processing sector. Brief Duties Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures. Communicate with the project team, provide updates, raise issues, and attend team meetings. Deliver and contribute to practical solutions. Ensure project time and cost are met by monitoring the effectiveness of designs, scheduling work, assessing resource requirements, and reviewing compliance with project plans and client expectations. Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members. Demonstrate a high standard of personal safety and safe design practices. About You Minimum 3+ years relevant experience working on mining and minerals projects. Minimum 5+ years if senior role. Relevant Diploma or Associate Degree is advantageous. Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal). Excellent attitude, team focus, and commitment to safety. Proficiency in MicroStation design software is highly desirable.
