About the roleReporting to the Superintendent Process Improvements and Integration (Metallurgy), you will be responsible for developing the operating strategy for the Fixed Plant, including the Crusher and Concentrator, and supporting operational improvement initiatives such as productivity enhancements, cost reductions, and increasing plant availability and recovery.Key responsibilities include:Ongoing development and optimization of feed management processes, including formulating blends for the crusher and monitoring concentrator performance to adjust feed accordingly.Ensuring compliance with long-term feed consumption plans and investigating feed-related issues affecting plant yield and quality.Creating monthly technical reports on feed performance relative to targets and compliance standards.Conducting regular plant inspections and reviewing Fixed Plant KPIs to inform plant adjustments and strategic planning to meet in-spec production targets.Troubleshooting process and operational issues, monitoring wear on key equipment components to maintain efficiency and extend equipment lifespan.Identifying and implementing new opportunities to enhance plant performance.Liaising closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure KPIs and compliance requirements are met.You are safety-conscious, solution-oriented, and possess a continuous improvement mindset with a strong desire to succeed.
