The Team: Digital Health: The Bluegum Digital Health Transformation Program team is responsible for delivering the Digital Health Transformation Strategy, a 10-year program aimed at transforming Tasmania''s health system into a world-class, innovative, and integrated system. The program, including the implementation of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, is crucial for the efficient delivery of frontline health services into the future. The Role: The Specialist Project Manager leads the delivery of complex, high-impact projects within the Health ICT capital and operational portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder needs. The role requires expertise in areas such as: Clinical Engagement & Functional Design Ambulance Electronic Patient Care Record (AePCR) Data Migration Integration Interoperability & Technology EMR Foundational Infrastructure This position provides leadership and mentorship to project teams, offers expert guidance, manages contract negotiations, vendor performance, and governance activities, and ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. The role also involves fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders to support the Bluegum Digital Health Transformation Program. You will need: Extensive experience in delivering complex ICT and/or digital health projects, preferably in government or healthcare settings. Proven skills in project management methodologies and stakeholder management to achieve high-quality outcomes within constrained timelines and budgets. Expertise in managing technology-driven change and promoting digital health solutions adoption. Strong strategic, analytical, and creative skills, with the ability to identify risks, issues, and provide effective solutions.
