Talk to us about how this could work for you.Period of Appointment3 years.Hours per fortnight73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.LocationBurnieDutiesAttend Supreme Courts and courts of summary jurisdiction across the state and assist in the effective presentation of criminal prosecutions. Coordinate the briefing of witnesses, their attendance at court, and organize the availability of exhibits in support of criminal prosecutions. Compile, vet, and file documents such as indictments, notices, Crown Papers, and arrange service on defence counsel and defendants. Undertake clerical and administrative duties to support the delivery of services by the Director of Public Prosecutions, including opening and closing files, archiving, coordinating video links, assisting witnesses with expenses claims, and binding documents. Prepare reports on criminal case outcomes and arrange for the preparation of reports and documentation required by the Supreme Court and the DPP. Maintain databases ensuring data is timely and accurate.
