Our Institutional bank helps our largest customers move trade and capital around the region, providing our people with great opportunities to build their technical expertise and their careers.About the RoleAs a Business SME, Trade Surveillance in our Team, youll play a key role in helping to assist the Market Surveillance, Trade Control, and Market Risk functions in Trade Surveillance Transformation Project by providing deep functional, operational and technical expertise in designing, developing, testing & deploying controls. Your role requires to co-ordinate with internal & external stakeholders / vendors, Project Business Analysts and Business control owners. Whatever your role at ANZ, youll be building your future, while helping to build ours.What will your day look like?As a Business SME, Trade Surveillance, you will:Minimise financial losses to ANZ through timely delivery of fit-for-purpose projects to business requirementsWork effectively with internal customers to build and maintain appropriate controls across conduct and financial risksWork with business control owners, technology development & projects teams to ensure timely completion of tasks / projectsBe able to multi-task, manage inconsistent workflow and work independentlyWhat will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Deep understanding of trading activity, prior extensive experience in trade surveillance, trading or risk management.Strong knowledge of Murex and other Markets Trade Capture systems.Documenting functional requirements, business control requirements. Process and workflow mapping skills (MS Visio or equivalent)Must have strong self-awareness, a team-oriented approach to problem-solving and an ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment preferably with some international experienceStrong quantitative skillset - data analysis and insights, reportingYoure not expected to have 100% of these skills.
