1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsDirect message the job poster from HIWAYComprehensive, personalised development and training plans, reviewed annuallyA supportive workplace culture that promotes a healthy work-life balanceCompetitive salary packages, tailored to your skills and experienceCompany vehicle with limited private-use allowanceGenerous overnight allowances for work-related travelClear and genuine career progression opportunities your growth is our priorityApproachable, supportive leadership committed to your successRole SpecificsDue to an internal promotion, we are seeking a motivated Project Manager with strong relationship-building skills to lead high-quality road recycling and reuse projects across Northern NSW, working closely with clients, employees, and contractors.Lead a team of Engineers, Designers, Supervisors and Operators in the safe delivery of full service pavement, earthworks and drainage packages.Liaise effectively with Clients Representatives and project Stakeholders to address the projects evolving needs and foster strong, lasting relationships.Define and articulate project scope, delivery methodologies and objectives to align with both Client expectations and organisational goals.Efficiently plan, communicate and allocate the appropriate resources required to achieve project milestones and objectives.Prepare detailed project budgets, financial reports and forecasts aligned to scope, programme, resource allocation and contract requirements.Ensure project contractual obligations are met.Oversee contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring all deliverables align with project programme and specificationsAddress any issues related to Employee and Sub-Contractor performance, Client and Stakeholder expectations and project delivery.Provide regular, transparent updates on project progress.Provide proactive on-site leadership and mentoring in high regard to Environmental and Zero Harm objectives to foster a safe work environment and a safety first culture.RequirementsTertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and/or job experiencePrevious experience working away from home for extended periods of time on rosters set by the clientPrevious experience managing the delivery of TfNSW or other road authority construction contracts.Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationshipsAustralian citizenship or permanent residencyCurrent C Class Drivers Licence and Construction White CardDemonstrated experience in leading, managing, and motivating teamsStrong problem-solving skills, with an innovative mindset and the ability to perform under pressure.Hiway Australia specialises in recycling and reuse, offering innovative low-carbon pavement solutions for transport infrastructure across Australasia.
