We are currently looking to employ an experienced, enthusiastic and committed HR & OHS Coordinator to join our growing team.Prestige Jayco employs staff in two dealerships, Geelong and Bendigo, with a wide range of roles including sales, administration, service, workshop, cleaning and detailing.The role:Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating the ongoing operational Human Resources needs to support the business.The role will include:HR and OHS planning in consultation with the management team.Providing assistance to management on recruitment matters, including advertising vacancies, managing applications, involvement in interviewing, conducting reference checks, and onboarding processes.Providing guidance and advice to management on legislative compliance, award interpretation and employee entitlements.Coordination of performance reviews including the coaching of managers and implementation of subsequent training and succession plans.Management of grievances and disputes in conjunction with managers.Proactively addressing risk management through the education of managers and employees.Coordinating and monitoring OH&S systems/processes and return to work to ensure legislative compliance.Monthly and quarterly HR reporting.Proactively updating and maintaining forms, templates, policies, guidelines, procedures and processes.Undertake HR projects as directed by the General Manager.This position is based at the Prestige Jayco Head office in Geelong but would require visiting the Prestige Jayco dealership in Bendigo regularly.You:To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a generalist human resources role. Qualifications in Human Resources are highly desirable. You will ideally have been working in a retail or light industrial sector. You will be a hands-on, practical individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Experienced in the coordination of OHS, further qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety and Return to work will be highly regarded.As a key member of the team, you will display a high degree of initiative, independent thinking, and problem-solving and consultation skills.
