With offices in Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Wodonga, Auckland, and Bendigo, the company operates a facility in Bendigo that produces high integrity steel castings for the mining, transport, and engineering industries.We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager - W.A. to join our team. Reporting to the Plant Manager in Bendigo, this role is responsible for establishing profitable relationships with clients and contractors in Western Australia.Key Responsibilities:Drive profitable sales growth aligned with business forecasts.Conduct regular visits to mine sites, workshops, and corporate offices.Identify and develop plans for new business opportunities within the region.Forecast, budget, and monitor account revenues.Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries and resolve complaints.Prepare annual sales forecasts and track results.Report monthly to the Plant Manager in Bendigo.Analyze existing customer base and ensure appropriate service levels.Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.Participate in exhibitions and trade shows as needed.Preferred Attributes:Experience in technical/engineering sales within the mining industry.Ability to manage the sales pipeline from lead to close.Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation).Proven sales and customer service abilities.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Excellent time management and analytical skills.Results-oriented with the ability to explain technical info simply.Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.Valid Australian drivers license.Remuneration will be negotiated based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
