And we are different.Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for enhancing and contributing to business outcomes through KordaMenthas governance and compliance framework, by working with the Manager - Governance & Corporate Operations and Partner Governance & Corporate Operations.As this is a new role, the duties and responsibilities will be reviewed in six months.1. Company SecretarySet up of new entitiesMaintenance of existing entities and registersTrust deed stampingTrade Mark and Business name maintenance and renewal2. ComplianceCollation of Board papersASIC lodgementsAssistance with AFCA renewalsAssistance with APRA reportingAssistance with coordinating compliance meetingsPrepare AFSL resource materialAssistance with collating annual compliance audit documentationMaintain compliance control setsReal estate license management3. GovernanceMaintain Governance & Corporate Operations procedures manualMaintain insurance summaryMaintain Intellectual Property registerRenewal of Intellectual PropertyPower of Attorney set up and managementMaintain Governance & Corporate Operations intranet4. Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)Assist in maintaining ESG website and intranetPrepare quarterly updatesCollate emissions dataQualifications2 to 4 years experience in a similar rolePrior experience in company secretarial, AFSL and compliance desirableProfessional services or compliance background desirableStrong time management, organisational and co-ordination skillsStrong verbal, interpersonal and communication skillsKnowledge or experience of risk/compliance systems e.g. 6Clicks, Cyber GRX desirableAbility to interact in a professional manner at all times.PC literate including advanced Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).Ability to manage areas of responsibility and take initiative.Ability to work independently as well as part of a busy and dynamic team.Desire to take ownership of tasks assigned.Flexibility, in relation to working hours, as well as being able to change priorities and tasks as required.Excellent attention to detail.Proactive.Ability to adopt a hands on approachAbility to work efficiently under pressureClient service orientatedAdditional InformationAt KordaMentha, we believe there is strength in difference.
