In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the Regional Enablers Program so a love of business startups and innovation is essential. You will organise innovation focussed events, lead delegations to tropical locations and help launch innovation-driven enterprises. You will also be responsible for building the startup community around the Generator.The Generator Bundaberg Coworking Space and Innovation Hub (The Generator) is a vibrant and collaborative environment for entrepreneurs, start-ups, freelance creatives, and remote workers. Owned and operated by Regional Business HQ since January 2019, The Generator is the go-to space for local entrepreneurs to gather, work, and support one another in growing their businesses and driving innovation within the Bundaberg community.Our community at the Generator includes a variety of individuals including:Those looking for a refreshing change from their home office.Travelling professionals in search of a reliable home base during their stay in town.Entrepreneurs who like the company of like-minded people but also value the autonomy of their own workspace.Business owners seeking time away from the distractions at their usual premises.Enthusiastic people who simply love the atmosphere at The Generator!In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the GROW Bundaberg, our Regional Enablers Program, which includes:Planning and running workshops, webinars, and innovation events (i.e. awards, showcases and hackathons).Leading delegations to key innovation conferencesBuilding partnerships with local stakeholders.You will also manage The Generator coworking space and drive its evolution into a vibrant innovation hub by:Supporting members and improving daily operations.Designing and delivering startup accelerators, incubators, and community-led initiatives.Helping create a space where ideas, startups and entrepreneurs thrive.Ideally, We Are Looking For Someone Who IsA capable project manager can juggle deadlines, stakeholders, and events with ease.A creative community builder you love connecting people and sparking collaboration.Confident running events and programs, with bonus points for startup or innovation experience.A natural self-starter who thrives in a flexible, semi-autonomous role.Comfortable with a bit of chaos and excited by the opportunity to shape something big in a regional contextA natural collaborator who enjoys contributing as part of a broader teamWho are you?RoleWe need someone who is not just a manager but a community builder.
