Trainer Assessor - Temporary Traffic ManagementGO Training Pty Ltd (RTO Code: 45757) delivers Temporary Traffic Management training under the National Training Framework for Temporary Traffic Management in Victoria. GO Training is affiliated with a Traffic Management company, enabling practical placement of students.We are currently seeking Casual Trainers in Geelong and/or Regional Victoria to deliver Temporary Traffic Management courses and the Construction Induction course. GO Training also offers Workplace Spotters, Manual Handling, and First Aid courses within its scope of registration.All courses are conducted Monday to Friday during the day, with occasional travel required.Ideally, candidates will already hold the new Traffic Controller (TC1 & TC2) and Traffic Management Implementer (TMI1 & TMI2) qualifications. However, if you have at least 2 years experience in the Traffic Industry and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, the organization will provide the necessary formal training.If you do not hold these qualifications but have a minimum of two years experience in the Traffic Industry, we can train you to update your qualifications, provided you have the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.Your duties will include:Preparing the classroom for each dayTransporting training equipment and resources to classesDelivering coursesMarking assessmentsMonitoring students progressEnsuring compliance with RTO Standards and obligationsTo be eligible, you must possess the following:Temporary Traffic Management TrainerAs of March 2024, trainers and assessors must hold:TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor)Industry qualifications include:Current Traffic Management TicketConstruction Induction Statement of Attainment and White CardTraffic Management Statements of AttainmentIf you do not hold these qualifications, your application will still be considered if you have two years of traffic management industry experience, along with the relevant qualifications listed below:RIISS00058 Traffic Controller Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural RoadsRIISS00059 Traffic Controller High Volume RoadsRIISS00060 Traffic Management Implementer Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural RoadsRIISS00061 Traffic Management Implementer - High Volume Rural RoadsConstruction Induction TrainerYou must provide evidence of:TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentCPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industryVictorian Construction Induction CardCPCCWHS2001 - Apply WHS requirements, policies, and procedures in the construction industryWe seek a trainer who is enthusiastic, energetic, well-organized, punctual, and professional.
