You will work closely with revenue-generating partners to create and implement strategic channel activities that increase awareness, generate leads, improve relationships, and build sales pipeline and opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong business background to engage at the executive level.ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive the GTM strategy with specific partners in the Public Safety sector for a designated geographic area.Collaborate with the Channel Ecosystem (Resellers and System Integrators).Coordinate with the Internal Ecosystem (Channel, Market Product Specialist, Technical Community, Customer Excellence).Build and maintain a high-performance sales pipeline; foster a positive image in the Public Safety industry.Apply Solution Selling strategies to identify client needs; communicate effectively internally and externally.Expand existing strategic relationships and develop new business divisions.Manage the entire sales cycle from identifying initiatives to closing deals.Record sales activities in CRM (Salesforce.com), manage opportunities and pipeline.Conduct competitive research and stay informed on competitors products.Support organizational improvements and maintain inter-departmental relationships.Other responsibilities as needed.RequirementsBachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).At least 5 years experience in software sales, strategy, and account development.Knowledge of software industry regarding channel management.Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, Salesforce.com experience a plus, familiarity with mobile devices.Knowledge of Public Safety software is a plus.Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time.Preferred Skills and KnowledgeExcellent communication and listening skills.Strong sales strategy and account development experience.Disciplined hunter attitude with excellent sales acumen.Resilience, self-motivation, and integrity.Ability to plan and execute effectively to meet objectives.Additional DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Sales and Business DevelopmentIndustry: Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
