The primary role of the Graphic Designer is to develop, produce, and maintain high-quality learning resources. This includes creating digital assets like images, diagrams, videos, and interactive graphics that align with TAFE SA''s branding, accessibility, and compliance standards. The Graphic Designer will play a vital role in supporting product development initiatives across various digital and print mediums.Key Responsibilities:Producing and distributing digital learning materials, including images, diagrams, videos, and flowcharts, in line with branding and compliance guidelines.Developing and maintaining online learning content that is student-centred, engaging, and accessible.Ensuring quality control over all learning materials, adhering to standards for branding, compliance, and production specifications.Collaborating with learning designers and key stakeholders to assess and develop content that meets the needs of diverse student groups.Designing, delivering, and supporting the production of multimedia assets for use in educational programs.Applying universal design principles, including accessibility and copyright policies, to all created materials.Key Selection Criteria:Proven experience in providing effective customer service based on development of clear briefs and guidelines to ensure a shared understanding of the learning resource materials to be delivered.Industry experience in a graphic or visual design capacity.Proven experience in industry standard software applications in particular Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a must, as well as knowledge of Adobe Express and Adobe Acrobat PDF workflow.Demonstrated ability to communicate and respond effectively to the requirements of a diverse group of customers both verbally and in writing with demonstrated interpersonal skills that facilitate the interaction and co-operation including negotiation and conflict resolution.Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, be self-motivated and flexible in responding to changing work priorities. Proven ability to work independently and as a team.Proven ability to produce work of a high standard within tight deadlines.Demonstrated knowledge of design principles, photography, print production, desktop and electronic publishing.Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal Culture and Community.Special ConditionsThe successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed.
