Job Description

Scope Of Works DPS is seeking an experienced Communication Officer to deliver the CCSRP Program change communication plan and coordinate stakeholder engagement events. The Communication Officer will develop communication materials for diverse stakeholder audiences and delivery methods (e.g., intranet, video, presentations, newsletters, fact sheets) to facilitate a positive change experience for stakeholders and end users of NT Health''s new electronic record system, Acacia. The Communication Officer is part of the CCSRP Business Readiness and Transition Stream and reports to the CCSRP Change, Communication and Training Manager. Essential Skills And Experience Minimum of 3 years of hands-on communication experience in fast-paced projects across dispersed locations. High-level skills in designing and developing content using intranet sites, Microsoft 365 Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Pro, Illustrator, and other IT tools. Proven ability to create and deliver high-quality communication materials for various audiences and channels. Experience with stakeholder engagement methodologies and building collaborative relationships to ensure effective change communication. Knowledge of managing change resistance and coaching leaders in delivering engaging communications. Ability to manage communication schedules, tracking registers, and analyze and report on communication effectiveness. Desirable Skills And Experience Experience in government or health sector communications. Knowledge of the Prosci ADKAR model for change management. Experience working on fast-paced projects. Qualifications in Journalism or Communications. Personal Qualities Strong social and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in diverse, large team environments. Deliverables Coordinate information gathering to ensure communication content is accurate and relevant. Develop change communication messages and collateral with subject matter experts for various channels. Prepare issue management and system update communications. Maintain and update the CCSRP Communication schedule and manage review and approval processes. Support transition services and post-go-live support through communication design and delivery. Coach and support program team members in stakeholder engagement and managing change resistance. Provide feedback and risk mitigation advice related to the change process.
