GMHBA offers a flexible workplace, a community-focused culture, and a great regional lifestyleAbout the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Provider Commercial Lead to support GMHBAs engagement with healthcare providers and the broader provider market. This role plays a critical part in improving our members'' healthcare experience and supporting GMHBA''s strategic objectives. You will contribute to the implementation of our Health Provider Strategy and build both new and existing provider commercial relationships to enhance GMHBA & Frank brands and the member value proposition.Key ResponsibilitiesProvider Engagement: Work closely with healthcare providers on emerging priorities and create strategies to increase awareness of new programs and changes.Provider Agreements: Coordinate procurement activities, manage commercial agreements, and ensure smooth integration of health programs with provider and product teams.Data & Insights: Utilize data-driven insights to inform commercial activities, support business case development, and develop provider campaigns.Regulatory & Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, and support audit processes.Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with teams like Benefits Management, Marketing, and Member Experience to ensure successful program rollouts and smooth operational execution.Skills & ExperienceStrong background in provider relationship management and commercial agreements.Ability to leverage data and insights for strategic decision-making.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Experience in working with regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance.Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives effectively.About youMandatoryTertiary Qualification in relevant area, ideally in business or health related fieldExperience in a similar contract coordinator role ideally within a clinical health-related field and/or health provider management.Comfort working in a role that balances strategic and operational demands.Strong organisational and project management skills to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities and influence outcomesExcellent interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain positive and collaborative relationships; particularly in cross functional environments; and the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy, and influence with impact at all levelsHighly desirableExperience in private health insurance, general insurance or relevant sectorsExperience in procurement of services, preferably in a health or related fieldExperience with value based or outcome focussed contracting and co-design approachesUnderstanding of the private health insurance legislative environment and other regulatory obligationsProficient in the use of relevant IT programs MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc)Why Join UsIf you are passionate about enhancing healthcare provider relationships and driving commercial success while contributing to meaningful health outcomes, we want to hear from you!
