Our facility operates a wide range of advanced equipment to support the production of ingredients for both domestic and export markets, including products used in infant nutrition.Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Process Operator to join our dynamic operations team. This hands-on role is responsible for the operation and monitoring of key processing systems in a highly regulated food production environment. The ideal candidate will bring experience in dairy or nutritional powder processing and have a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor processing equipment including Separators, Homogeniser, Evaporator, Spray Dryer, Membrane Plants, Bulk Liquid Handling Equipment and Tanks.- Conduct routine checks, adjustments, and cleaning to maintain optimal performance and ensure product integrity.- Follow SOPs and production schedules ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.- Work with high-risk ingredients including infant formula ingredients to meet regulatory requirements.- Accurately document process data, deviations, and corrective actions.- Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues.- Collaborate with QA, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.- Safely operate forklifts and manage materials.- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area.- Work independently across a 24-hour rotating shift pattern.Skills and Qualifications- Minimum 2 years experience in dairy, food, or nutritional manufacturing.- Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP principles.- Experience with spray drying, filtration, and thermal processing.- Forklift licence and warehousing experience desirable.- Mechanically minded with troubleshooting skills.- Proven ability to work unsupervised.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.- Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.How to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and qualifications to: jobs@bellarinefoods.com.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
