Job Opportunity: Reception/Administration Officer - Casual PositionThe Geelong Clinic, a private psychiatric hospital located on the outskirts of Geelong near stunning coastal attractions, offers inpatient, day programs, and outreach services for individuals experiencing mental health issues.We have a team of accredited psychiatrists supported by a skilled multidisciplinary staff, including nursing, allied health, administration, and domestic services. Our hospital is a 73-bed facility that has recently undergone renovations and expansions. We also provide free onsite parking and various staff benefits.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our administration team as a casual Reception/Administration Officer. This role involves front desk reception duties across day and afternoon shifts, with an immediate start possible.Key Responsibilities:Answering and redirecting callsOrganising appointments and preparing admission paperworkMaintaining accurate record management, including medical recordsPerforming Health Fund Checks as neededManaging collection of excesses and co-paymentsCoordinating with staff from other departmentsPerforming clerical tasks such as data entryDesirable Qualifications and Skills:Previous reception and administration experienceHigh initiative and ability to work independentlyExperience in the health industry (preferred)Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work various shifts, including early/late and weekendsExperience with WebPas Hospital system (desired)Why Join Healthscope?At Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
