Join Brigid''s Light Early Learning Centre as our Early Learning Centre Manager and lead a dedicated team.The RoleThe person appointed to this significant leadership position will lead and manage the operations of Brigids Light ELC, Echuca. This work is undertaken in alignment and partnership with the Approved Provider, Sandhurst Catholic Early Childhood Education and Care (SCECE&C), to provide high quality early childhood education and care for our children and their families.The Centre Manager is supported by SCECE&C to lead, coach, and inspire the staff team so they can enact their professional responsibilities with diligence, confidence, care, and joy. Their managerial skills will also be supported and developed as they are coached by, and work alongside, the professional and dedicated SCECE&C team. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of competence to ensure the service meets the requirements of the Department of Education (DE Kindergarten Funding Guide; Education and Care Services National Law; Education and Care Services National Regulations) and functions in line with approved policies, procedures, and the Quality Improvement Plan of the SCECE&C Board.The SCECE&C Board is deeply committed to enacting the Victorian Early Years Learning and Developmental Framework with flair and fidelity, working with the Centre Manager to ensure high-quality learning and growth experiences, as well as equity and access for all children in our services.Key Selection CriteriaDemonstrated understanding of the National Quality Framework and Funding guidelines and how they influence the operations of the Early Childhood Service.Demonstrated experience in leadership and commitment to ongoing continuous improvement consistent with the strategic direction of SCECE&C Ltd.Ability to develop relationships with children and families that support a collaborative partnership, allowing families to contribute to their childs learning.Behaviours and attitudes aligned with SCECE&C Ltd values, including a commitment to actively contribute and manage professional relationships.High level of communication and interpersonal skills across service leadership facets.Capacity to lead a Catholic Early Learning Centre.About YouYou are a dynamic and committed leader who brings:A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) with VIT registration.Extensive knowledge of early childhood education, child development, and relevant legislation and frameworks.Experience in educational leadership and team management.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.A passion for inclusive, culturally respectful practices and family engagement.Essential Certifications:Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management qualifications.Valid Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.What we offerAt Sandhurst Catholic Early Childhood Education and Care, we are committed to providing a supportive and enriching work environment.
