Your responsibilities will include:Processing a high volume of financial transactions, including invoicing, vendor payments, and patient reimbursementsTracking and managing trial revenue and expensesAssisting with trial contract reviews and financial setupSupporting month-end financial close and reportingEnsuring compliance with internal policies and clinical trial agreementsYour role will be vital in ensuring the smooth financial operation of clinical trials. You''re motivated by delivering accurate and timely financial support, and you understand the impact of your work on the overall success of the Clinical Trials Unit.About UsThe Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) forms part of the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences and plays a critical role in delivering high-quality clinical research across Macquarie University Hospital and MQ Health clinics.The CTU Finance team oversees the financial management of all clinical trials, ensuring financial viability, compliance, and streamlined operations. This role supports a range of stakeholders, from Principal Investigators and clinical trial coordinators to sponsors and central finance teams.We are a close-knit and supportive team, passionate about what we do and proud of the role we play in enabling impactful research.
