Lifting & Height Safety Equipment Technician (R25_0000008219) Burnie, AustraliaAs a Lifting & Height Safety Equipment Technician, you''ll be out in the field, responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, and maintaining lifting & height safety equipment to ensure compliance with Australian standards. You''ll work closely with customers to provide expert advice and solutions, ensuring their lifting & height safety equipment is reliable and safe to use.If you are mechanically minded, enjoy being outdoors, provide exceptional customer service, and have experience using lifting & height safety equipment - We want to hear from you! We also encourage EX ADF personal to apply as we value your experience, skillset, discipline and work ethic that ex - ADF personal bring to the workforce.Join us in ensuring the safety and reliability of lifting & height safety equipment while building a rewarding career in a growing industry.Key ResponsibilitiesPerforminspections, testing, repair and certification of lifting & height safety equipment, including chain slings, synthetic slings, hoists, harnesses, lanyards and other lifting & height safety gear.Providetechnical advice and support to customers regarding lifting & height safety solutions and equipment.Maintainaccurate records of inspections, testing, repairs, and certifications.Ensureall work complies with relevant Australian Standards.Collaboratewith the sales team to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate lifting & height safety solutions.Upholda strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.Who are you:Can do attitude, physically fit with a strong work ethicHands-On experience inspecting and/or using lifting & height safety equipmentFlexibility to travel to customers sites & stay away from home as required (eg.
